Many People Look Forward to the New Year for a New Start On Old Habits.

Hello New Year!
Well in a couple of hours!

I have never carried out New Years Resolutions as I already know I have nil self-control and that they will all be broken!

BUT…

This year is different, it’s my 21st year (or soon will be) of life on this planet and well its about time I had some self control

Here is a list!
I like lists…

  1. Have some self control
  2. Carry out the 8 minute abs routine, everyday
  3. Take a photo everyday,my memory is rubbish so its about time I keep actual evidence : )
  4. Have a takeaway at least once a week!
  5. Go away for weekends and the like
  6. I will give up chocolates totally. 100%. Completely.
  7. I will think of a password other than "password."
  8. I will read the manual... just as soon as I can find it.
  9. I won't worry so much.
  10. I will cut my hair
  11. I will grow my hair
  12. I will be more imaginative.
  13. My list suddenly looks incredibly hard, hmmm here is some resolutions I would definitely keep!
    1. Spend more time watching TV / movies.
    2. Chat more over phone / Internet.
    3. Read less.
    4. I want to gain weight. Put on at least 30 pounds.
    5. Stop exercising. Waste of time.
    6. Procrastinate more.
    7. Drink. Drink some more.
    8. Start being superstitious.
    9. Spend less time at work.
    10. Stop bringing lunch from home: I should eat out more.
    11. Take up a new habit: Maybe alcoholism!!

Overall, I just wanna have another 'ossum year like this one!

What's the Time Mr.Wolf?

Has anyone ever wondered to what extent mobile telephone technology has affected the watch industry? Let's be honest with ourselves, how many of us rely on our mobile's to tell the time? I would never purchase a new watch for timing when my phone has a perfectly good clock. As a sentimental fool, I've taken to wearing one of my mum's watches, really only as an accessory. Eventually, I'll purchase a similar functioning vintage men's watch, hopefully in a sea masters style, off of eBay or some other brilliant place.

Frankly, I'm not one for time. I'm 20, nearly 21. I'm either always early or always late. I wish for a perpetual summer; fuck the changing of the seasons. The only hour of the day that matters is 5:00pm Monday-Friday. I don't like to celebrate birthdays, opting instead to celebrate life.
Duedate? Do dontdate.
And lastly, forget diamonds, it's actually pizza that's forever.
Ofc, schedules are practical, but life is not. If there's one thing I've learned (and stuck by) it's that you'll get there when you get there (physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually) and, at present, time is all you've got. Tomorrow-tomato is a whole 'nother day, so think patient and wear your watch with a different state of mind.

Love Takes Up Where Knowledge Leaves Off

Hello!
I hope your Christmas was nice - mine certainly was!

Yeah, I'm looking at you, Blue/White/Brown Finsk wood wedge Boot. Wanna be friends? I know you do. Why? Well, because we could be great together, of course.

Anyone actually know where to purchase these? I can't find them anywhere, like I'm kind of thinking that I need to call Tom Cruise to try and save me a pair of these shoenicorns.

Ugh, my heart hurts so bad right now. Some people think too much; I think I feel too much.
Paris is love. Let's go.

Giving Taking at Christmas

Father Tim Jones has told his parishioners its okay to shoplift!

Welllll, if a member of the clergy says this, it must be okay!

Just nipping to the shops…
He told the congregation: “My advice, as a Christian priest, is to shoplift. I do not offer such advice because I think that stealing is a good thing, or because I think it is harmless, for it is neither.I would ask that they do not steal from small, family businesses, but from large national businesses, knowing that the costs are ultimately passed on to the rest of us in the form of higher prices. I would ask them not to take any more than they need, for any longer than they need.”

Right so at least there are some boundaries, we wouldn’t want to steal from just anyone!
OH DEAR

another 'cock-up' for the church!

The amahzin' Father Tim 'Kleptomanic' Jones.

"Oh Gravity, thou art a heartless bitch."

I officially love the Big Bang Theory and I feel it hasn't been advertised enough
and from this alot of people have been missing outtt!
Buttt, I love it and when I was watching it the other day this thought sprung out at me...

Wolowitz looks like a young Homer!
What another ossum' reason to watch this show.

"Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and as it always has, rock crushes scissors."

All I want for Christmas is...

An Otter!

Awhhhhh liccle cooooooties!

(I wish I was excited for Christmas :(, hopefully soon!)

"Music Mends Broken Hearts."

"Must you know the truth? This is all for you"
This year has been one for absolute beauts of albums!
My two all time favourites being:

Say Anything - Self Titled

Max Bemis is one of the cleverest, talentented and most technically accomplished songwriters of this generation; but ofc. All he needs now is to get over his own solipsistic and complusive awareness of self doubt.
Alas, I love it.

AFI - Crash Love

AFI have always been able to change up their style from one album to another. This album takes all of the components of old AFI and mixes them all up to compose a very tight and focused album. As soon as this album starts,I straight away had a feeling that AFI has finally found their perfect sound.
'Torch Song' is factually epic.
Everything from guitar riffs of the intro to the chanting chorus of
"Anything!  I'd tear out my eyes for you my dear."
memorable guitar continues on 'Beautiful Thieves' and 'End Transmission'. It is a lot more focused on the guitar work and the lyrical theme of the album which is that of the downfall of a relationship.

30 Seconds to Mars - This is War and Canterbury - Thankyou
have also caught my attention but not as much as the ones above.
I feel everyone should at least give them a listen.

Ofc, there has been others
but these have stuck in the ol' memory bank.

The Bone Structure Of The Landscape

Winter is nature's way of saying, "Up yours."  ~Robert Byrne

Generally I don't like snow due to the fact the whole country seems to come to standstill
but today I had fun :)
I factually love the area I live in.
Oh, and my puppy!

Follow That Car!

Brummmm.
I officially think I could be a spy...

Like ACTUALLY do.
I am officially in love with the programme spooks and through this I feel I could
Spy It Up with the best of them!

I could be on computers finding out facts and going out on missions.
I could fire a gun and I could keep my cool.

So fair enough, I can't run to save my life as I look like a duck waddling very fast - which may be a pretty huge factor -
BUT
I still feel I am the new Spy on the block! AYEEE.

PLUSSS, I would get gadgets.
I like gadgets.

Not even my Mother would recognise!

P.S - Everyone should go and see Law Abiding Citizen. Factually Ossum'.

A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!.....Or just the jodhpur trousers!

Horseplay

I was at a friends and came across an article.
It was about how
jodhpurs or horseriding trousers are in fashion.

You what now?

Why on earth would anyone want to wear theseeee!
I don't understand.
Especially as the average UK dress size is 16 and the average height is 5'4''
In the end all we are going to see is this
minus the pony of courseeee....

Amuuuuzin' Yuh :)

The Web of No Secrets.

Social Networking.
Rant.

I've always followed the fads, I know I have an addictive personality and I become quickly involved in the new and up-to-date site which everyone just must be a part of!
For example I worry if my fish are starving on facebook, even when I'm not even online!
But lately I'm finding it a complete bore or worse a place where I find out things I just don't need to know!

Back in the day when Myspace was the place to be, many people had over 25,000 friends. Maybe impressive at first, you think: Twenty five thousand friends? Wow.
No ones real, kind of a problem like!

The internet while it appears to be 'connecting' us its actually doing the complete opposite. We may be friends online but strangers in the street.
We live in our small houses, year after year, never even knowing the names our nighbours and hell forbid we actually make eye contact or talk to one another!

Sharing your deepest desires and secrets to another IP address does not make them your friend, even if they follow you on Twitter and always 'there for you', they are not your friend.
HELLLO! Future Stalker.

Its this age of great digital connectedness, we increasingly find ourselves clinging to illusions of intimacy, adrift in a sea of anonymity, surrounded by the great faceless, nameless masses from which no commonality can be extracted.

There doesn't seem to be privacy anymore, I can see when people are talking to each other and its pretty easy to pick up on things you shouldn't be aware of.
I find that without even trying, I ALWAYS come across something that will upset me on a daily basis. Sad I let something so trivial mess with me, but again its the way of the social network that we're all a part of.
I'm finding out what people are getting for Christmas, where people have been, who people have been seeing and many more things which I just don't need to know! If I wanted to know I would ask!
One site that annoys me greatly would be twitter, as its one of those sites you become strangely addicted to whether it to be stalking a celebrity or the fact you NEED to constantly update your status....like anyone ever reads them.

I'm seriously considering deleting them all, why do we need them? I have a mobile and the people I really need to contact are there and at the end of the day a nice chat is the best thing :)

/Rant.

Oh my Cod!

You Really Shouldn't Look That Happy Holding A Dead Fish To Your Bits Love.

I kinda get the reason behind these photos, well i try tooooo!
Well I don't, because killing a fish to use in a photo shoot to tell us we shouldn't be killing as many fish as we are is kinda backwards.

BUT..
Yes our sustainable amount of fish is decreasing rapidly and so forthhhh
but why, oh whyyyy did Greta Scacchi and Co. have to get their bits out!
Greta's well UN-shaven bits at that!
Put it away love, chaz.
As well as Greta , Emilia Fox, Terry Gilliam, Lenny Henry and O.T. Fagbenle are also participating in the campaign but I'm finding it so difficult to come across any photos!

Apparently the fish here are from a sustainable source but even so would you want to eat it after its been wiped over peoples bits and whatnot. Ergh. Neee thanks.

Beware The Weeping Angel

Allons-y!

Did anyone see the new Doctor Who on the other night?
Twas' factually amahhhzin'!

I am a Doctor Who fan anyway but since David Tennant has been in it I have not missed one episode! lolz.

The reason I'm writing about this now is the fact whenever I'm at home or at a friends, Doctor Who will ALWAYS be on one channel and well of course I demand for it to be put on!

As daft as it sounds, I do wonder if time travel and all this outer space stuff could exist! Like I knowwwww, its a long shot but what if there is life out there!
I'm not really into 'aliens' and the sort but it would be highly ignorant to assume we are the only race, hmmmmmm! The little grey cells are working!

It may be turning into a little bit of an obsession, hmmmm.
Lets put the TV remote down now me thinks!

Heres some photos so you can share my love :)!

I Could Help You Cross Your Yard!

Cool! My mom loves that game!

Has anyone seen Disneys new(ish) film UP?

I've seen it twice at the cinema and thought it was amahhhhhzin'

I wasn't too sure about it at first when I saw the trailers and realised it was about a grumpy old man but no I was soooo wrong! Happily wrong I may add!

I loved the way we were welcomed into his life and then was shown the goodbye of hers, sad times I know; but it really set the scene for the marvellously thought out, almost musical montage of the story and of the characters lives.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for animation but I never thought it would be able to effect me so much! At one stage a little tear welled up!

BUTTTTT..

I'd definately go back for round 3! :)

This film will always have a special place for me, plus I love cineworld now :)

Heres some
more pictures from it!

The Bulb that Blew

Hold the Phone!

I have never had a keen interest in fashion and I doubt I ever will have that interest.

BUTTTT, oh my, Alexandros Stasinopoulos's watches are actually b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l!

I understand they won't be to everyones taste but they are to mine!
I feel I'm being drawn over to the dark side and away from my happy life of George at asda!
But alas, I factually need this watch! Ahhh Cruel Fate.

Stasinopoulos saysssss:
"The purpose of mechanical watches is not just to display the time. They are, and ought to be, the showcase of human achievements in the fields of engineering, aesthetics and of course craftsmanship."

ALRIGHTY THEN!
I want one now, chazzz. x

Demure through the Dark Dancing Nights

Officially excited!

Next April I turn 21, a rather big milestone as people have been constantly saying!
Soooooooo I thought I should celebrate in style! Not with a flat cap, smoking pipe and cane as people have been suggesting!
Which of course means I have to travel (well, I don't but everyone loves an adventure :D) thereforeeee I am off to see AFI!

BUZZZZZZZIN'

I am going to see them in Glasgow on the 8th and on the 11th in my hometownnnn!
You can tell I'm excited due to the fact I'm elongating ALLLLL my words!

Plussss, you gotta love
a road trip,
factually lovin' it.

Now! I have to come up with an outfittt, ahhh :)

Head to Hollywood

Well, I guess this is my first post. Your first little look into my out of the ordinary world!
After many months of debating with myself, whether to start this or not, I have come out with the conclusion that I should! Starting today, the 9th of November 2009.

I intend to share my thoughts on the world, as well as the many different experiences that I encounter no matter how big or small. I would love for this to be an open scrapbook for all to experience and share with me :)
