"Real" Women.

For years the fashion industry has bombarded us with the image of 'beauty' and what we need to do to achieve it. Whether it be a complete wardrobe overhaul, skin treatments, make-up ideas, gym memberships and ofc the ever faithful eternal diet.

It's very hard to be anything but sceptical of yourself when you look in the mirror. It's no wonder young girls and some boys are beginning to become victims to eating disorders and the like.

Anyway, back to the point! While flicking through a magazine I came across an article which was highlighting how trendsetters like Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton will be releasing classic pieces which will be for the "real" woman. The collection named "And God Created Woman" is based upon the fabulous Brigitte Bardot (from the same named film). The collection will be pieces of flattering skirts and clevage-enhavncing corsets (god, do I need that!)

For once they seem to be listening to the real world! Even the models are relatively 'normal'!
And finally they are bringing in clothes which can be seen to be flattering to all women not just the up and down types that strut their bones down the runway!
I approve.

Venomous Villains

Venomous Villains is the new title for MACs new make up range which will be hitting us in September! (I'm not stating the villians below are the ones who are being released, but they should be)
Normally I find their collaborations a little 'pink' for me, ergo Hello Kitty and Barbie.
this Disney collaboration looks good!
Not a lot has been released about this yet apart from this video (CLICK HERE!) which has a hell of a load of hints!

Hello Summer!

As I was driving home today I saw something that is so quintessentially summer for me!
I saw the first hot air balloon of the summer :) (well for me anyway!)
Here is a photo I took from the car, so don't expect quality!

We all know Megan fox is a bit beautiful.
But when I was looking through my RSS feed on my phone
(oh yes, only taken me overa year to figure it out)
and I came accross these stunning photos of her!
She doesn't look like her, even though you know it's her...
Odd, I know. BUTTTT look!
She actually looks stunning.
I feel this look should be kept. (Y)

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow!

Soooo I have naturally curly hair (duh) and as much as I love the idea of long luscious locks I know that it just will NOT suit my hair type, no matter how hard I try in cultivating it.
I find it very hard to find 1) a hairdresser who cuts curly hair well and, 2) when looking through hair magazines all of the models with 'naturally' curly hair are well, just curlers and fake.
At the minute, my hair is slightly longer than shoulder length and I may be brave and go super short.

Overall, I just want nice hairrrrrrr.
So I feel I need to invest in beautiful hair jewelry such as:
(From Centre Top, Clockwise)
Mikey Flower headband £16.00
Red Flower Hair Slides, Dorothy Perkins, £6.00
Satin Corsage, New Look, £4.00
Lace Headband, Dorothy Perkings, £6.00
Cameo Kirby Grips. Topshop, £8.00
Rose Headband, Topshop, £8.00
Cameo Style Headband, ASOS, £6.00
Darling Hair Grip, ASOS, £4.00
Ribbon Broach Headband, New Look, £10.00
Swarovski Crystal Petal Hair Piece – £100.00

Made Up.

Everyone is going craaaaazay for this new make-up range and I think I may sign up to this new trend.
It's called Lime Crime and was originally created in New York by one Doe Deere (a female deer) in like 2008 or something.

The range hosts so many funky colours and are in general fashion-led for the fashion conscious in us all.
It has built a cult following, which I intend to join!

The range is online here: Space NK

Iron Man 2

I didn't realise all the bad press it had accumulated before I went to see it with the Nick-ster
(I know he reads this now, so I can name and shameeee!)
Butttt, I LOVED it!
Overall, Tony Stark reminded me looks wise; a little like wor' Davey Havok,
and his drunken self reminded me of an old friend!

The more I think about it the more I loved it!

Scarlett was in it, I kinda like her- I'm not overly sure though.
I only have one complaint.
Whenever females have a fight scene it always, always seems so pale in comparison to the males.
You may as well leave the lines on when she is spinning in the air.

Apart from that I would recommend it sooo much!
Whoever goes to see it next, can I come?
Just to perv again, that good? I'll meet you there :)! x

Military Rose Degrage Dress

New Day, New item wanted.
I feel me and this dress are destined to be together.
I really love it, it's so unusual and just....well completely beautiful.
Everyone that I have shown this dress to have come back with the response
"I'm not sure about it, but I could see you in it!"
I'm not sure whether this is a compliment or not.

I would love to own this dress.
Alexander McQueen. $4,775.00

Ladies Who Lunch

I want to be a lady,
a lady who lunches
in high heels, pretty dresses and cream cakes
ohhhh and a huuuuuge hat!

I want to do all this, minus the cream; i hate cream, i think i am going to start.
excuse me while i meet with the girls for lunch
actually I don't tend to keep many girl friends as I tend to get along with boys better.
Maybe this plan is failing already! Oh dear, Boys Who Lunch?
Hmmmmm, no.
I'm gonna find some girl friends and party on down :D
And ofc, Vicki has opted in!

Check her out HERE!

This is my new skirt which cost all of oooooo, maybe £1.99
It's made by my fair hand and it may be my favourite garment of the minute!
This photo doesn't do it justice but it's the only one I've had any time to take.

Cropped Denim Jacket £16.00 Matalan
Black Scoop Neck Tee £5.00 Topshop
Brown Leather Belt £2.99 Vintage
Black Sand Shoe/Boots £16.00 Primark

This movie was actually awesome, at first I thought it had too many 'slow' bits but then the fight scenes literally 'kicked' there way in!

I'm not a massive action/fight fan but even I throughly enjoyed this!

Plus, even though she is wickedly scary, I REALLY want to be HitGirl.
(Plus she gets to wear plaid, I like plaid but feel its for under 15's)
Yes, shes like 13
Yes, shes like way physically fitter than I am
Yes, I have as much speed a sloth in a coma

but I honest to god feel I could be.
Knock a few years and pounds off me and I'm all for it!

I feel I need to read the comics, as the grapevine has led me to believe they are rather good.

This WILL be my new wardrobe!

(Or cheaper alternatives for some...)

Hello Spare Tyre!

"We think fast food is equivalent to pornography, nutritionally speaking. "
-Steve Elbert

I feel this way toooooo!
i proper love food and in general wouldnt be so cautious about what I eat
not because I am one of those lucky few who can eat what they want and not put any weight on
*shakes fist*
but lately I am the Queen of Junk Food.
My arteries and veins must be crying with the amount of sat, fat that I am cramming down them.
I'm not going on a diet, I don't believe in diets. (Maybe my first problem) But, still! I don't believe in them because as soon as you resume your normal diet- hello hips!
So I have decided, majorly conscious decision, to cut out 98% of junk food out of my diet!
It would be 100% but lets be honest its not exactly possible for anyone.
DAY 1! I hope I last, maybe a food diary is the way forward.

I feel like I NEED these shoes.
So if I save zero pennies per a few hundred months I'm sure I will eventually get them :)

Gawjusssss..... jacket!
this is my gorgeous new kid's denim jacket.
This will be going EVERYWHERE with me, I actually pure love it.
It is from George ASDA and was like £8.
Scoreeeeeee springs to mind :D

So my friend and I have officially ordered our Download Festival Ticketsssss!
We weren't able to go last year due to lack of funding but this year we are ready to get our rock on and ultimately our boogie when Billy Idol come on (maybe even a wedding dress)!

Tooooo excited!

I feel I have slight OCD, and through this I tend to plan things in advance to ensure everything is PERFECT!
It's not OCD as such, just I don't like odd numbers, bar 0 and 5, and if I start writing in a notebook with a certain pen, I won't be able to change to a different pen. Yes, I sound completely normal now....

Anywhooo, back to the planning session. So I have pretty much got my Festival wardrobe sorted. The lucky thing about Download is that it isn't like Leeds, with alot of prim and proper girls who have blatantly booked into a hotel. I never look good in the morning and after a 3 hour sleep I look worse. So apart from the bare essentials ie. makeup etc, I am pretty much sorted!

Blue Mac New Look
Dark Skinny Jeans Topshop
Black Bow Front Skirt H&M
Cropped Denim Jacket Matalan
Grey Hoody H&M
Black & Red Checky Shirt Matalan Men's
Burgundy Converse TK Maxx
Beige Snood Topshop

I also plan on taking my new black with small flowers cropped denim jacket from George Kids and some other essentials like a hugggggge La Redoute coat and about a million other hoodies!

Ohhhh and socks.
MILLIONS of sockkkkks!
