Cath Kidston - Autumn Collection

I don't know any girl who doesn't like Cath Kidston and I feel that the new Autumn Collection is as perfect as ever.

(British Birds bag, £68.00. British Birds umbrella, £30.00. Blue Floral dress, £95.00. Red Bow Front dress, £95.00)
I love all of these pieces, especially the blue floral dress and the black British Birds bag. I really want these items and I am thinking about how I can manage to afford them!
Ho hum! I need money and/or a job! See more of the collection at the Cath Kidston website.

Rucksack Tuesday.

Following the vintage theme from the bicycles, I have decided to explore the rucksacks which would go perfectly with them! Rucksacks seem to be making a comeback and I completely understand why as they seem so handy and useful!

However as I am a penniless student, I am going to show a wide range of prices; the cheaper prices for me and the more expensive for people who can actually afford life! :)

I've actually been loving this cheap rucksack for a while now! So when I can justify it (yes, I know it's not a lot) I will buy it! xx

I must apologise...

...for completely neglecting my blog and my tumblr! Boy, do I suck right now. I've just been out more than in recently and so haven't had the oppurtunity mostly. I tried blogging on my phone but got annoyed at the typing, so again I apologise. I should really just stick it out. I have take a few photos from this week, not enough and I really need to move my camera app to the main page so that I will take more photos.
Never the less, have some photos :)

Can I just say, Mulberry you have let me down. Good and proper son. I mean, highlighter pink?! Righto. Gosh.

Outfit#1
These little black dresses, from H&M, are my main wardrobe staple...like EVER. I totally recommend everyone getting some as they are completely versatile. and so easy to work with!
(Mac, Primark. Salmon top, Kookai. Scarf, Cannot remember! Black dress,H&M.)

Last week was the busiest week ever! I started back at Uni and instead of easing us in gently I was in every day at 9. Oh the joys! So, coffee was definitely the top of the agenda!
(Coffee, a bit gross. Filofax&notebooks, Paperchase)

Outfit #2
This was taken while I ws waiting for a friend in Mango, I have bought too much stuff today and feel guilty already! However, I did purchase some lovely placement pants from Zara and New Look, as well as some other goodies! I will take some photos and upload tomorrow....hopefully. Again, I'm rocking the simple H&M dress. Yeah, I have like 5 of them...
(Black dress, H&M. Grey top, Kookai. Bag, French Connection. Detailed blazer, Idol for New Look. Scarf, Peacocks. Shoes, Primark.)

Overall a very successful shopping trip! A lot of bargains but lovely day! Now to do a large amount of paperwork in prepartion for placement and all of mty deadlines after! Oh the joys of uni :) xx

"I hope you can save our wounded hearts and distance makes my heart grow colder" - Funeral for a Friend.

Yesterday I said I would post a photo of my beautiful new satchel and here it is! Ahhhhhh.

In't it loverly?! It was a bargain as well for only £30 from Topman! Yes, TopMAN....I will be going back to have another look soon I believe. I definitely need big bags like as I carry soooo much. Too much probably.

When I hit the library I literally make a little fort around me with all the stuff I have been carrying. My chiropractic is on hold as I know I will do some damage sometime soon. xx

I'll hide these words, they're only yours to find - AFI

While shopping today I stumbled into Zara and my, oh my what lovely clothes are in at the minute. I am an old lady, behind the young 21-year-old facade, and I love everything which I shouldn't. Such as florals, tweeds and much, much more! However, I have accepted this..My Mother hasn't but that may be because even she isn't old enough to like half of the stuff I like!

Zara is amazing at doing things I like, especially at the minute, they have brought older styles and materials together with slightly modern designs. I approve, ohhh yes. All available instore or Zara Online!

I love all of these items and well they are all reasonably priced. The most expensive being the leather bag (top left) at £49.99 and the least expensive being the bird tee (bottom right) which is £14.99! The skirts are all £22.99! I may have to go back!

I did buy a gorgeous satchel today! I have been looking into getting one for a while, I didn't need one as I have a lovely red one, but still I was on the lookout and found a gorgeous one in Topman! I will upload a photo hopefully tomorrow :) xx

Winter is nature's way of saying, "Up yours." -Robert Byrne

It's that time of year again! The time where you travel to work/uni and other places in the dark spend the day there and then return home in the dark! Seeing light is a rare occurance and if you're like me, standing outside in the freezing cold just to see some light is not high on my priorities list.
I do love being able to wear millions of layers and walking around looking like the michelin man because you're allowed in Winter. No-one likes to be cold and well I'm spparently cold-blooded anyway so wrapping up even in the summer months is a thing for me. I would love to be able to hibernate like bears, to just forget the world, to be peaceful and warm. Oh what a life.

(L-R. Black Cape Coat, A/Wear. Khaki&Black striped midi-dress, Miss Selfridge. Navy Fur Trimmed Duffle Coat, Matalan. Grey Duffle-front Cable Cardigan, Matalan, Crop jumper, George at Asda. Spike Stud Bag, very.co.uk. Fur Hat, not as good a mine!, Very.co.uk. Tan Wrap around belt, Wallis. Fairisle knit skirt, Miss Selfridge. Tan pixie lace up boots, boohoo.com)

I actually want ALL these clothes! Oh bye bye student loan! Saying this I have sooooo many bills coming out soon I think I better wait and see! Mind you, I really want the boots and midi-dress. Hmmmm, decisions!
Just a quick note. I'm in love. Like for real. It's amazing. Please let me introduce you....

I NEEEEEED THESE IN MAH LIFE! Both are from Asos! The ones on the left are called Angel and on the right are Amelia! I need them so much! Plus Amelia is in the sale for only £18 now so I feel I should take them before anyone else does! xx

A day of highs&lows!

Today has been the oddest day! It started off well with the box of hats...oh the hats and then well it rapidly changed. I am injured now! Oh so injured, oh dear. So to cheer me up I'm going to share some lovely things I have got recently! Nom :)

Bag £2.00.Rose Address Book, 50p.Earrings, £1.00
I love this bag as its got compartments and its just pretty but basic! I like bags like this, kinda boxy and the like.

As well as these lovely things I also picked up this skirt. I know many hardcore fashionistas are going to mutter under their breath when they see this and feel that I do not deserve this as I do not follow fashion like others but looooooook....
A normal striped skirt? But oh noooooo, look!
Yes, I am somewhat a follower now. Look at me go! Plus it was only £4.99. Bless the old people in the charity shop not knowing anyrhing about fashion, lol! xx

"I trust you, if it's already been done, undo it. It takes two, it's up to me and you, to prove it."

-The Gossip.

Hello!
I knowwww, I'm such an awful blogger but Uni is hectic! Brutally so. I've posted before on the long hours well, I'm kinda getting used to them (apart from the fact I get up and ready in the pitch black) but the workload is HUGE already! I have weekly presentations on top of seminar&lecture work so yes, when I get home I tend to crawl onto the sofa or bed and cabbage out without having to think of anything...bar any work due for the next day.
Alas, do not fear I have been able to take some photos in between the mess and I'm just going to place them all here :) Enjoyyy.

Owl pencil case, £ shop.
Simple Black Tee Dress, H&M
T-Bar Shoes, Peacocks
Leopard Print Satchel, Thrifted.

This bag definitely deserves it own little line. It is beautiful, like completely! I have totally fallen in love with it and its far superior and therefore overtook the bag I loved in M&S. Mainly because it was only £2.99 annnnnd it fits EVERYTHING in! Loving it like that!!

I also have some outfit photos ready&waiting which I will post up a bit later but I reallllly want a long bath with candles and music. Ahh, small pleasures are amazing at the minute.
Be back soon my lovelies! xx

Look alive, Sunshine.

-My Chemical Romance.
(Actually obsessed with this clip! It's my ringtone and message tone....
and I'm buying gig tickets tomorrow!)

Lately it has to be said I am not looking alive. I am completely shattered as I have been up, ready&out of the house by 7.20am. Yesss, this may be normal for others but for me this is complete torture. I'm a 8 hour a night kinda girl and struggle with anything less. Add on to the crippling early starts many tedious hours of sitting in rush hour traffic as well as many other equally grim aspects to my life at the minute and you may see why I am completely exhausted...and it's only Wednesday. Boy, that’s depressing.
Anyway, rant over! I promise... :)!
From all this there hasn't be a lot of time to get outfit posts in but I did get one in the Uni toilets today (yes I am classy like that).
Slouchy cropped jumper, George for ASDA
Black long sleeve top & ankle boots & belt, Primark
Short, Topshop (thrifted)
Scarf, TK Maxx
Slouchy, studded duffle bag, Matalan.

I found this outfit so comfy and well I am definitely going to be pairing the items off with others from my wardrobe! As well as this I took my super cute lunch bag with me today! I got it from Brighton, but I've been informed loads of other places have them, and I completely love it! Not only does it allow me to eat what I want but for a hell of a lot cheaper! I also have a red with white dots insulated one, which is also lovely :) but was from Corbridge I think.

Is anyone else at Uni or going back soon? And do you have to contend with EARLY mornings?
I hope not, I wouldn't wish it on anyoneee! lol xx

Lust.

Today was my first day at Uni. Needless to say it was exhausting!
Mostly because of the huge amount of information they told us plus the fact I had a brutal 6.30am start time! I have had a lazy summer without so much of a hint of getting up times. So this killed me.
So I'm gonna make this short!
I saw this in Marks&Spencers and I want it so badly! I just wish it was a little bigger so I could fit a file in, I may go back and check to see whether I can force it. Must haveee itttt!

Back to School! Part Two!

After finishing my previous post I realised that my items were all completely different price bands and well some item atm I just can't afford! So I've decided to try again with three different price ranges.
There is:
  1. £20 and under
  2. £40 and under
  3. No budget!
Hope you like them! (Click on them to enlarge :)!)
I really want this pinafore dress! I may go check it out soon :)
I really love this Miss Selfridge dress! While I've been looking around online I think Miss Selfridge have one of the best collections around at the minute. Obviously taste is different for all but I think I will make a post up of my favourite dresses from there!
Even if I had no budget I don't think I could quite justify over £1,000 on a pair of shoes!

Jeans Day.

""I'm like every other woman: a closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear: So I wear Jeans"
-Cameron Diaz
Just like Miss Diaz says some days you can get up look in your wardrobe at all the lovely items you have and not want to wear any of it! The other day I had this very problem and decided on jeans! To accompany it however I wore my new Mac and thrifted top and bag. These are my new favourite items to go with jeans! I have always been told I was born in the wrong time period and I completely agree. I would love to go back to when everyone looked sophisticated; males and females. Ahhh, those were the days.
Mac from Primark £17.00
Bag (the colour has been altered within the photo, the left is closer to the original) £2.99
Loafers by Nicole. I bought these from Brighton a while ago and cannot remember the price!
Shirt, Topshop, thrifted, £1.59
Necklace, Dorothy Perkins
Earrings, Matalan £4.00
Belt, Primark £1.00
Better photos will be taken soon as my broken camera has been replaced!
I have also acquired a lot of new things recently so maybe more photos to follow!

the post of two parts.

Part 1.
Warrior Queen
Meet my new, fierce baggggg.
Its so different and ofc represents such a classic figure.
Win. In. A. Bag.

Part 2.
HELLO SKY!
I have always towered over my friends and at my current height of on avg. 5'8" I am seen as 'tall for a girl'
Whenever I wear heels I turn from tall woman to short man in heels.(Apart from the fact I look nothing like a man)
It is quite the dilemna and with the amass of shoes I own I am wondering can you be shortened?
I know midgets and the like can be heightened (breaking of the bones) but can I be shorter?
ORRRR I think I will just get some new tall friends :)

P.S I love my friends that I have at the minute. Never to be replaced... just added toooooo!

Hello Beauty!

Factually need one of these. Carpet bags have always been a sort of fascination for me,
maybe just because of the marvellous
Mary Poppins
and her ability to pull lamps out of hers!

Alas, this bad boy would set me back around £215.00
and well i seem to have lost my credit card.
wahhh, soooo its my birthday soon, any takers?! :D
