Wreck This Journal.

Yesterday was my birthday and I had a lovely day! I have decided that I am going to spread my birthday over a week so that I can have special days with many different special people. I got lots of lovely presents but I would like to bring attention to one in particular.

Wreck this Journal is a book by Keri Smith, and it focuses around the individual carrying out small tasks within the book so that memories can be made. I like this idea as it allows me to stand outside of my own box and not always be a perfectionist within notebooks, I have wicked OCD relating to this :).

It tells people to carry this journal around with them everywhere incase another page can be completeled, I doubt I will manage this but I am going to try, at the very least :) xx

Ready to go!

Just a quick post that I wanted to share with you! Look at these cute little travel books! Can you tell I'm wanting to get out and have a look around?! Despite this, I just love these books they have just the right amount of information in them! I got the little blue travellers book from Lintzford and the other three (Chic Paris, Chic London&Artistic London) from TKMaxx, but I know they do a wider selection on their site :) such Goutmet books for loads of cities!

ahhh, I want to go away to somewhere so bad! xx

Well the supposed 'small' mission has turned into a colossal movement!

A while back while scouting through blogs I saw that some people had specialised fonts for their post&widget titles. So after googling it and deciding that it didn't look too hard I decided to develop my knowlege into html. WELL, its hard! I would not recommend it to someone who is not too hot on computers, like myself tbh. However, it is slowly coming together and I promise to have it up properly soon! Until then please excuse the mess and slight hassle I have bestowed on myself and I hope it doesn't affect you!
Back to blogging!
Before I said I would upload some outfit posts so here goes. I would love to say the photos of me in one of my all time, favourite playsuits is a good photograph...however, it is not and I blame Nicky! He said he wanted credit for taking this photo so here goes...Well Done Nicky for taking maybe one of the worst photos ever! Pffft :)
On top of the rubbish photo skills he has either shot me from a low angle making me look like a giant or from above me making me look really short. Oh Nicky, Fail.
Playsuit Miss Selfridge
Belt, Primark
Leather ankle trainer/boots, New Look
Necklace, Matalan

Woolen Shift Dress, G21 at ASDA.
Also lets welcome in my new winter boots! They are going to be fab as soon as the awful weather hits in! I fall over when the road is not slippy let alone when it is! I used to have a very similar pair from another shop which were non-leather and fell apart near instantly. I accept last winter was goddamn awful but still gotta be prepared. These beautiful leather stomping boots are from Next and well were a steal at £40 imo!
So come on Winter, gimme your best shot! I'm all ready now! xx

Whats cooking?!

As most of you will know I have been on the quest to learn how to cook for a long while now. I have tried but to no avail, generally just because lack of time persues and well when the weather has been nice my worst nightmare would be stuck in a hot kitchen baking and the like!

It's not even that I won't cook, I will its just life is so much more fun! Plus, when you sit down with that ordered in pizza or whatever else it tastes so delicious why would I want change? I wouldn't but I'm guessing my arteries aren't loving me for pumping them full of fat.

My mum has abandoned me and gone off to Oxford not before giving me a little present (to soften the blow of leaving me to fend for myself!) which I LOVEEE.
Its this little box of cookery books, not are they cute but practical. My favourite things always are!
So either this evening or tomorrow morning I am actually going to cook/bake things. I'm not just saying it either it WILL happen.

The fact that the last time I cooked I mutilated an onion and was told to leave the kitchen will not hold me back. I will be strong and when I watch Saturday Kitchen I will pick up tips and not just drool over the delicious food they seem to tempt me with.
These little books are sooo cute!
(The books include: Mango, Coconut, Green Tea, Cherry, Caramel, Salted Butter, Orange, Lemon, Pistachios, Hazelnut, Chestnut, White Chocolate, Rose, Lychee, Coffee, Vanilla, Apple, Pear, Cinammon, Peach, Apricot, Almond, Nougat, Strawberry, Yoghurt, Raspberries, Summer Fruits, Chocolate, Orange Flower Water & Violet)

I think I will start off with something rather simple like cupcakes or something similar! Saying this I never do things by half so maybe a full blown extravaganza. I'm only 21 so there is still plenty of time of time for me to find a hidden passion and/or talent! These beautiful books focus around dessers, biscuits, small&large cakes, pies, tarts, crumbles, tartlets, pastries, flans, clafoutis, choux pastry, meringues, chilled desserts, ice cream, drinks, sweets&treats and sauces!
Amazing little collection and I will start today!...or tomorrow! But definitely one of those days!
