Craving Summer.
(Necklace, Matalan. Vest Top, H&M. Cardigam, Topshop. Straw Hat, Dorothy Perkins. Denim Shorts, H&M. Wedges, heel.com and Sunglasses, kirnazabete.com)
It has been quite nice weather this weekend and I hope it continues. I really wish, like reeaaallllly, that I was shorter so could get away with wearing wedges/heels on a day-to-day basis. Humf!

Desire.
I love a good ol' pair of Converse trainers as I find them so comfortable and the fact they last for an extrememly long time is always a bonus. Converse have just released a new collaboration which features Paloma Faith, Bill Ryder-Jones and Graham Coxon, in support of a new range of shoes and music collaboratively being released!
Paloma is one of the only female artists, available at the minute, who I do actually think is rather talented. And lets be fair to the girl, she's not exactly quiet with her fashion sense.

Birthday Wishes.
In 9 days it is my birthday and I will hit the grand ol' age of 22!
Following this I don't want a lot, well nothing off the top off my head, and there is nothing that I need so I decided to be completely extravagant and ask for another pair of glasses! I have a pair of Police sunglasses which are based on Ray Bans Wayfarers and so I decided to see whether I could find a pair for my day-to-day glasses.
And well I found this pair! Aren't they just so pretty?! I cannot wait to go pick them up :)
Unfortunately my Mum won't let me go and collect them until the day of my birthday but hey ho!
xx

A day for lovers.
Valentines Day is on monday and of course it's all about the love.
I quite like this holiday (can I call it that?) because it is seen as a universal day of showing you care.
(Shoes, Vivienne Westwood. Nail Varnish, Teen Vogue. Dress and Belt, ModCloth. Earrings, Dorothy Perkins.)
Eeeee, I'm excited for presents :) However I do, and always will, love cards as much as presents if not more. xx

Springtime Muses.
As my blog has had, what I would call it, a Spring time makeover I thought I would create a set to reinforce this!
(Picnic basket, John Lewis. Shorts, Topshop. Plimsoles, Dorothy Perkins. Flower top, Tillys. Sunglasses, Chanel. Suncream, Nivea at Boots. iPod and iPhone, apple)
I really cannot wait until it is a bit warmer, I have only just managed to get around and buy myself a coat, which is a bit pointless, however this country is generally freezing so winner!I want to be able to go out without a jacket! I want to have picnics and be with friends outside and not inside with a hot drink. I want to wear my beautiful sunglasses (even though I am wearing them while driving, it is not the same!) Ahhhh, warm and long days are the best!
I've just googled the first day of Spring and its the 20th of March, this has come as a massive blow to me. Buttttt, I am starting to buy suncream to go back into my routine or applying it from March onwards so that will make me feel slightly closer to the goal than not...hopefully!
What does everyone else love about spring? xx

Life Through A Lens.
Heres another outfit from placement. Again, I'm going for smart casual but would say I'm bordering more on the smart. However, I find it easier to be this way...means I'm never under-dressed.
(outfit:Belt&black top, Matalan. Grey chiffon-esque shirt, Primark. Navy skirt, Zara kids. Crown ring, New Look)
(outfit:Belt&black top, Matalan. Grey chiffon-esque shirt, Primark. Navy skirt, Zara kids. Crown ring, New Look)
It has to be said, I love this mobile blogging lark. Currently I am lounging watching Beerfest, worra' film!
This cute little cat is Molly and belongs to the boy's mum. She looks cute but us deadly, fact!
Well off shopping soon as I need yet more placement clothes! Hope everyone has a equally calm and happy Sunday! :) xx

I must apologise...
...for completely neglecting my blog and my tumblr! Boy, do I suck right now. I've just been out more than in recently and so haven't had the oppurtunity mostly. I tried blogging on my phone but got annoyed at the typing, so again I apologise. I should really just stick it out. I have take a few photos from this week, not enough and I really need to move my camera app to the main page so that I will take more photos.
Never the less, have some photos :)
Can I just say, Mulberry you have let me down. Good and proper son. I mean, highlighter pink?! Righto. Gosh.
Outfit#1
These little black dresses, from H&M, are my main wardrobe staple...like EVER. I totally recommend everyone getting some as they are completely versatile. and so easy to work with!
(Mac, Primark. Salmon top, Kookai. Scarf, Cannot remember! Black dress,H&M.)
Last week was the busiest week ever! I started back at Uni and instead of easing us in gently I was in every day at 9. Oh the joys! So, coffee was definitely the top of the agenda!
(Coffee, a bit gross. Filofax¬ebooks, Paperchase)
Outfit #2
This was taken while I ws waiting for a friend in Mango, I have bought too much stuff today and feel guilty already! However, I did purchase some lovely placement pants from Zara and New Look, as well as some other goodies! I will take some photos and upload tomorrow....hopefully. Again, I'm rocking the simple H&M dress. Yeah, I have like 5 of them...
(Black dress, H&M. Grey top, Kookai. Bag, French Connection. Detailed blazer, Idol for New Look. Scarf, Peacocks. Shoes, Primark.)
Overall a very successful shopping trip! A lot of bargains but lovely day! Now to do a large amount of paperwork in prepartion for placement and all of mty deadlines after! Oh the joys of uni :) xx

I love it when...
...I get new stationery! I have a small love, which most of you wil already know, and it's only getting worse!
I would love to say these new notebooks were needed but they're not. Well one is, but two is just greedy. Buttttt, they do match my collection and will allow one of my tutors to continue talking way too much.
(Notebooks from Paperchase)
Again, they are like my other notebooks, so much so they follow the same retro/vintage theme as well as sporting a plastic cover which is just sooooo good when you're like me and tend to spill things within my bag,
I haven't been able to shop much in the sales due to my increasing hatred of crowds and bustling-sale-finding people. They have the 'bargain' on the mind and no-one, and I mean no-one, will get in their way. So in general, I tend to just try and stay away. Saying this I have braved it a few times to only emerge with some awesome goodies!( (Necklace, New Look, £2. Shoes, Primark, £8. Tassle belt, H&M, £2. Navy wool skirt, Zara Kids, £12)
I really fancy going shopping but think I should probably save my money so that I can afford to live this year! Even though I have fallen in love with a £249 bag....xx

Happy New Year!
Well technically Eve. But hey! New year, new start and all that! I am very much looking forward to 2011, it seems like it will be a fantastic year; just as 2010 has been towards the end.
I haven't got any resolutions as I will just break them...probably in the first few days. Which in turn will just depress me that I cannot stick to a few rules!

"Skiing is a dance, and the mountain always leads." - Author Unknown
I've decided that I want to go away, like I've mentioned before, to explore everything. I really would like to go to Austria so I can ski/snow board. Well I can attempt to anyway! But as you will all know by now I get cold WAYYY too easily so will need quite a few layers!
(Nofu New Knit Cardigan, Vila. Braemar Ski Jacket, Sweaty Betty. Arbonne Ski Wedge Boots, Lacoste. Ski Neck Warme, Adidas by Stella McCartney. Duck Egg Blue Audrey Sweater, Athleta. Beet tankard, Ikea. Fondue Set, John Lewis. Sno Black Snowflake Pom Pom Trapper Hat, Topshop. Lapin earmuff, Emilio Pucci.)

While browsing online I have came accross so many lovely weekend bags, yes I'm aware to go skiing I will need a bag ever so slightly bigger...However, I do feel I will need a new weekend bag this year. xx

Christmas Eve!
It is one day until Christmas and I am being a complete grinch because of the snow. I know it cannot be helped and what not but I have never been a lover and with all my parcels and general life being put on hold, I don't appreciate!
I am looking forward to a few quiet days. Quiet and healthy, as I have been pigging out so much lately but I'm putting it down to hibernation weight, ho hum.
Even though its only Christmas Eve, I have been lucky enough to recieve a few goodies!
I am also fortunate to have a new phone, as mine was dying a death, and look how pretty the case is! Now that is what I call a proper cover! (Cover, Ebay)Some new plasters, as I damage myself more than most! This little perfume is lovely and at a mere £2.99, a complete bargain! I love carrying a perfume around with me in my bag but hate carrying anything expensive as I tend to lose everything this is the perfect solution! (Circus plasters, gift. Perfume, H&M) A buddha statue and some lovely new candes! I love having candles and oils burning. (Candles, Ikea. Buddha, Durham Christmas Market) Some gorgeous bangles! Which don't fall off my child-like wrists. I don't think anyone will fully understand this achievement. Oh Well. (Bangles, Asda)
Anyway, I'm off to get ready to see the boy and eat too much, ommmm nommmm. Hope everyone else has an equally lovely Christmas Eve! xx

Burlesque.
I have already written about the new film Burlesque (you can read it HERE!) and I am still waiting to see it! This displeases me as, I neeeeeed to see it!
(feather eye mask, tkmaxx. burlesque inspired make-up, smashbox. beaded necklace, avalaya.com. black satin corset top & black/white bordello shoes loveburlesque.com.)
I have and always will love Christina Aguilera. Hell, I love her so much after seeing her in chaps, I nearly bought a pair! Yes, her new album was actually disgraceful and may have made me weep for her talent to come back to her; I do feel this could be her redeeming factor! Corsets, feathers, songs and dancing routines (which I will learn) is what I'm talking about! Ohhhh and I have never wanted a pair of shoes as much as I want these-slight exaggeration but I'm well too excited! xx

For or Against?
The term guyliner has suddenly leapt into the public forum and its a bit contraversial.
A bit like Marmite, you love it or hate it. It seems that it isn't confined to punk stars and the like anymore and its more of a universal ploy. I personally have a bit of a love for the guyliner and well, to be completely honest this post is to look at beautiful men and drool!
(L-R) Russell Brand. He doesn't do it for me but I hear that from this book it has done it for hundreds. Classy.

(L-R)Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy) He doesn't do it for me but I know he floats others boats.
Brandon Flowers, always one to add a little drama. (I prefer him with a beard.)
Captain Jack. As much as I don't like his acting I do love a bit of him!

Mikey Way (My Chemical Romance)
No longer is he the shy brother of Gerard he is in his own right now. And a bit hot imho.
Now this bad boy (in extra large I know) is Gerard Way.
Phwoaaaaaar. End.
On an ending note and one of the all time forerunners for guyliner...
Dr. Frank 'n' Furter himself!
So what are people's opinions on guyliner? You for or against? xx
P.S, add a chest piece with guyliner and my god I will love you for life. Maybe a chest piece post to come!

"I got wood legs and bow legs&no legs at all!" - Modest Mouse
I found this photo while I was trawling through one of my favourite sites for Vintage photos which is called My Vintage Vogue (Click here to go there!).
It features photos from many different genres. This photo really stood out for me as I find it fascinating that this was from the 1920s and oh my would these has been Risque! Love the rebellion!
I have been looking at H! by Henry Holland for Pretty Polly tights lately and I feel this photo has inspired to just go for it!
All tights can be found at Pretty Polly Online or in Debenhams stores :) I also think River Island are selling them! xx

"I hope you can save our wounded hearts and distance makes my heart grow colder" - Funeral for a Friend.
Yesterday I said I would post a photo of my beautiful new satchel and here it is! Ahhhhhh.
In't it loverly?! It was a bargain as well for only £30 from Topman! Yes, TopMAN....I will be going back to have another look soon I believe. I definitely need big bags like as I carry soooo much. Too much probably.
When I hit the library I literally make a little fort around me with all the stuff I have been carrying. My chiropractic is on hold as I know I will do some damage sometime soon. xx

I'll hide these words, they're only yours to find - AFI
While shopping today I stumbled into Zara and my, oh my what lovely clothes are in at the minute. I am an old lady, behind the young 21-year-old facade, and I love everything which I shouldn't. Such as florals, tweeds and much, much more! However, I have accepted this..My Mother hasn't but that may be because even she isn't old enough to like half of the stuff I like!
Zara is amazing at doing things I like, especially at the minute, they have brought older styles and materials together with slightly modern designs. I approve, ohhh yes. All available instore or Zara Online!
I love all of these items and well they are all reasonably priced. The most expensive being the leather bag (top left) at £49.99 and the least expensive being the bird tee (bottom right) which is £14.99! The skirts are all £22.99! I may have to go back!
I did buy a gorgeous satchel today! I have been looking into getting one for a while, I didn't need one as I have a lovely red one, but still I was on the lookout and found a gorgeous one in Topman! I will upload a photo hopefully tomorrow :) xx

Hey There! Happy National Wool Week!
Soooo, what is wool week you may be asking? Well, it's all down to our one&only HRH Charles, would you believe, and his need to encourage people to buy wool as it's on the downfall. This new campaign is supported by big-name stores such as Debenhams, John Lewis and M&S.
There is many different events due to take place this week including the famous Saville Row to be closed to allow Bowmoor&Exmoor Horn sheep to dawdle down! Prince Charles is all about the enviroment and the multi-purpose use of wool which can be used for fashion, industry&home. It's a pretty epic campaign because as he says it is sustainable and doesn't harm any sheep, it's a haircut! Wool is atural, sustainable and biodegradable, wool is also incredibly versatile. It is elastic, highly insulating, and water repellent, and can be strong and hard wearing as well as soft and delicate. It can be dyed and combined with other fibres to produce different effects – the possible end uses for wool seem endless! (You can find out more HERE!)
I'm in. I will buy more wool products. The more observant of you will have noticed a new section in the footer of my blog which is all for Handmade Good and how I pledge to buy handmade items for myself and others to help support others. Now I feel like I am truly part of two good causes, wood&handmade goods. From this I have picked out some lovely wooly goodies from etsy! Enjoy :)
