I have known for a while about Urban Outfitters doing homeware but I have never looked into it properly. However with my heightened interest into homeware for my move I have been looking everywhere and my, oh my Urban Outfitters have a wide range of items that I like and want!
Everyone should go and check out their full range at their website or if you're lucky enough at their stores! xx

How to Make a House a Home.
I've recently been invited to Pinterest (I have some extra invites if some people are interested) and I love how many beautiful photos I look at on a daily basis. One area I seem to be focusing on more so would be the home photos which look so comfortable. Ahhhh, if only I could afford to do this!
Also the fact that I spend most of my time in my bedroom so its more like a living room/bedroom I find I am unable to have an all white bedset as I tend to be messy! Ahhh, I cannot wait to get my own home so I can maybe have a white bedroom! xx

Home Sweet Home!
Sometime this week, I will hopefully be signing some contracts so that I will be fully ready to move out next year! I am a little excited, to say the least, and I feel its a long time coming!
Even though it is so many months away, I am thinking I will start buying things soon so that the price is spread out!
I did originally fancy the attic room but being the height that I am, similar to a giant, I am unable to claim it and from this Kate has claimed it and squealed at every attic room we saw! Lol.
As the attic room has been claimed, I have claimed the second biggest room which is only fair as Kate&I are organising it! :) Obviously as it is student accomodation, boo, it will be filled with basic furniture and without the possibility of redecorating so I am banished to shopping for amazing accessories, which isn't that difficult in all fairness. I always feel the cold and I'm thinking having a white/cream room with light accessories (original plan) will only hinder me becoming warm. Odd, I know but its true. It's harder to become warm in a cold looking room...Fact. (Well, maybe)

(Heal's velvet cushion, £65.00. Purple Haysom Lighting disc pendant, £49.00. Ashleigh&Burwood Fragrance lamp, £33.50. Dwell glass stem lamp, £79. Alessi La Rosa bowl, £38.00. 'Nettle Green' Bird jar, £11.50. Debenhams quilted hot water bottle, £10.00. Debenhams padded hangers, £6.40. Debenhams drawer knob, £3.75)
Obviously I won't really be able to afford all of these lovely products as I do like to eat but its a good start! I created this moodboard on My Deco which is actually an awesome site! It's all about homeware (obvs) and is like shopstyle or polyvore where it is like a department store but online! Lovin' it! xx

My Worst Habit.
We all have bad habits and I would say my worst is starting something but never finishing it. Whether it be something little or big. It's not that I'm over the said thing its just I get caught up with something new and flashy. I know, I live life on the edge! ho ho ho. I just like to keep moving and be excited and inspired by new things. However, yes I leave projects half completed BUT I always go back to complete them...it just takes a bit longer than normal.
Two clear examples of this would be a cushion cover and bunting. Both rather simple, well they were until I got a hold of them, but took me longer to complete as life rushes past me!
Tbh, the bunting was me just being lazy as! So here goes..the complete bunting and cushion cover!
I love where I live :) I love cows, they are definitely in my favourite animal list!
Below: is a selection of the materials I used to make the bunting, as the photo didn't make all the materals come out in the best possible way :)
Here is the cushion cover! I decieded, for some unknown reason, to make a simple cushion case extrememly complicated. Now that I've done it, it will be easy to replicate but with the addition of frills and ties...well I nearly gave up. But, I'm proud to say I powered on through!
I'm lucky to have so much material at my disposable its all because I follow in my Mum's footsteps of being a huge hoarder and I will pick up things from everywhere I go. An example of this would be that the above fabrics (within the bunting) the blue Beautix Potter and the Pink Floral are both from Brighton and were picked up on my many travels! I know when I'm old I wil be that crazy woman with too much stuff but at the minute I'm able to reach out and create whatever I want, which makes me extremely lucky and gracious!
Have a small peek at my material collection!
Now I'm off to fend for myself again! Well, not really Kelly says she will bring me Muffins to eat while we play scrabble and drink coffee. Yes, I'm too cool!
Hope everyone is having a good week! xx
