...have been awesome. The weather has been lovely, bar the humidity and subsequent storms, and my friends and I have definitely made the most of it! We have had at least 3 BBQ's as well as various meet ups and fun!
I found a new iPhone app named photo mess which allows me to make a montage, as such, with loads of my photos so here is a little insight into why I have been such a rubbish blogger.
Clockwise from top left:
Adam & Steve being men with the BBQ, my own homemade chicken noodle soup which is delish and I plan on creating a post about it soon! Adam in his new Barclays uniform which is a lovely aqua colour. My cocktail/pasty bunch girls and I! My garlic plant, which is coming along nicely; still not as good as my chilli pepper and strawberry however! And lastly, the aforementioned cocktails which were lovely and yummy! Lovely times :) how has everyone else been spending their time during the nice weather? xx

I know I said...
BRB, but I didn't mean for this amount of time! I am so sorry for being absent for so long.
However I do have a very good reason behind it! Adam and I had food poisoning from undercooked chicken, which resulted in both of us being laid up in bed for just under a week! On top of this I have now started my second and final placement of my first year, so again that has been incredibly hectic.
However the few days in which I have felt okay, I have made the most of it!

Lemonade at the Tyneside with my Mum :)
Chinese Bamboo steamer with noodles before and after, with some steamed mange toit, they were actually delicious! Really enjoyed it. I hope to make some lovely, sweer goodies this weekend and if I do, I promise to keep you informed! Hope you are all well xx

Trad Brit.
Adam and I made a scrumptious Roast Dinner on Sunday, I would love to say I made it all however I mostly just aided the situation, and I thought I would elaborate on it!
Beef, marrowfat peas, carrots, yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and sooooo much mashed potato (the mash was made by own fair hand!)
I'm not a great cook, as many of you will know, but I'm proud of my little contribution :)
Here's some other Traditionally Brisith items!
(Vivienne Weswood Blazer, Chanel Union Jack Bag, Thornton Pickard camera, Jones Bootmaker Riding Boots, Classic Buckingham Palace print from Past Times.)
Cannot wait until this Sunday, nom! xx

"Set the ferris wheel ablaze" - My Chemical Romance
Yes I am aware that its another My Chemical Romance title but its because I went and saw them in Edinburgh and well, they were EPIC. Not much else to be said apart from Edinburgh kids are brutal but the band are just as pretty, some prettier than others, and they seemed to have returned to a more gritty state in which I approve. They have changed somewhat as back in my day (yes I'm 90) Frank Iero was the second main man but now young Mikey is. Fair play Mikey, you are no longer the shy ridden boy hiding at the back of the stage behind his big glasses and even bigger hair.
As I was only going for a night I didn't want to take too many clothes as it would be too much to carry...I packed accordingly which is suprising and amusing when I saw how much Kelly had packed (Bless choo!) So here goes!
The huge amount of food we had in one sitting but was gorgeous! I had the potato skins, cheese&bacon and Kelly had the Tomato&Mozzerella Salad. We both tried and failed to have these cheeseburgers and had to resort to taking the half-finished things with us!
And of course the band in question! I enjoyed, a lot. :) Now back to doing workkkk, humf.

Day&Night.
I decided to carry a simple LBD dress along as it goes with everything!
LBD, H&M,. Brown Top, Topshop,. Belt, Primark,. Floral Top, French Connection
Had an amazing time and well I love Edinburgh! I ate too much and walked so much my feet still ache today! But I wouldn't change a thing.
We found this super cute museum which was about Scottish Literary Writers. It was a complete stumble-upon moment as we couldn't find it advertised anywhere and it was only because we saw words carved into the wall (below) and the floor which led up the little museum! It was soooo cute inside though and would say to go just to explore! (For people who want to go...you need to go up the Mound and then you'll see a little cut to your right, go up there!)

Flying the Nest 3.
" I no longer prepare food with more than one ingredient."
-Cyra Mcfadden
One of my biggest problems and one of the biggest problems I know of with people of my age group is that a lot of us either do not know how to cook or they just don't want to! I have to admit I am leaning more towards the 'I don't want to approach' as I feel I don't have the technical know how in preparing something, anything edible.
Like in a previous post I do generally live off toast! However, hold the phone, I've incorporated yoghurt! Oh yes, I've gone all out! Another problem with learning how to cook is the overwhelming amount of chefs that are actually out there now! The following are all chefs who are current (now of just have been) and have all released a cook book some time along the line.
This is just a small selection of the chefs that are currently out there! (A more in depth look can be found if you CLICK HERE!) It's unreal the amound there actually is! How am I meant to decide who to go for! Who has the best recipes?! Who can feed me the most? But with the lowest budget!
Well my friends this is my mission! I am on a cooking mission. I am going to learn how to cook! Even if its just something simple I will be utterly delighted.
I am not going to purchase a book by the millions of celeb chefs that seem to be creeping out, but looking at old chefs, simple cooking and of course ask my Mum and Kelly's Gran for tips.
Heres one more chef to add to the list.

Hello Spare Tyre!
"We think fast food is equivalent to pornography, nutritionally speaking. "
-Steve Elbert
i proper love food and in general wouldnt be so cautious about what I eat
not because I am one of those lucky few who can eat what they want and not put any weight on
*shakes fist*
but lately I am the Queen of Junk Food.
My arteries and veins must be crying with the amount of sat, fat that I am cramming down them.
I'm not going on a diet, I don't believe in diets. (Maybe my first problem) But, still! I don't believe in them because as soon as you resume your normal diet- hello hips!
So I have decided, majorly conscious decision, to cut out 98% of junk food out of my diet!
It would be 100% but lets be honest its not exactly possible for anyone.
DAY 1! I hope I last, maybe a food diary is the way forward.
