A day of highs&lows!

Today has been the oddest day! It started off well with the box of hats...oh the hats and then well it rapidly changed. I am injured now! Oh so injured, oh dear. So to cheer me up I'm going to share some lovely things I have got recently! Nom :)

Bag £2.00.Rose Address Book, 50p.Earrings, £1.00
I love this bag as its got compartments and its just pretty but basic! I like bags like this, kinda boxy and the like.

As well as these lovely things I also picked up this skirt. I know many hardcore fashionistas are going to mutter under their breath when they see this and feel that I do not deserve this as I do not follow fashion like others but looooooook....
A normal striped skirt? But oh noooooo, look!
Yes, I am somewhat a follower now. Look at me go! Plus it was only £4.99. Bless the old people in the charity shop not knowing anyrhing about fashion, lol! xx

"I trust you, if it's already been done, undo it. It takes two, it's up to me and you, to prove it."

-The Gossip.

Hello!
I knowwww, I'm such an awful blogger but Uni is hectic! Brutally so. I've posted before on the long hours well, I'm kinda getting used to them (apart from the fact I get up and ready in the pitch black) but the workload is HUGE already! I have weekly presentations on top of seminar&lecture work so yes, when I get home I tend to crawl onto the sofa or bed and cabbage out without having to think of anything...bar any work due for the next day.
Alas, do not fear I have been able to take some photos in between the mess and I'm just going to place them all here :) Enjoyyy.

Owl pencil case, £ shop.
Simple Black Tee Dress, H&M
T-Bar Shoes, Peacocks
Leopard Print Satchel, Thrifted.

This bag definitely deserves it own little line. It is beautiful, like completely! I have totally fallen in love with it and its far superior and therefore overtook the bag I loved in M&S. Mainly because it was only £2.99 annnnnd it fits EVERYTHING in! Loving it like that!!

I also have some outfit photos ready&waiting which I will post up a bit later but I reallllly want a long bath with candles and music. Ahh, small pleasures are amazing at the minute.
Be back soon my lovelies! xx

Let Me See Your Jazz Hands.

I love it when you come across pure bargains! Like little knick knacks for under a pound!
Little lovely things you know you'll use and if you don't it won't matter as much.
Well lately I've been finding some gems when out&about; either charity shops and high street.
Enjoy :)
I got the apple-like box&the white spot blue box from a charity shop for the grand total of £1.40, which is amazing!
Giraffe pen, WHSmith, I love Giraffes&writing so this is a win! Plus it was only 75p!
Miffy coin purse, (this tiny little shop in Newcastle near the Vintage shops) £1. I tend to use tiny coin purses like this for carrying around hair clips&bands in my bag. I used to have one but it either dropped out or I left it in a toilet somewhere...great.
Peach flower hair clip, H&M, £1.50 for two.
Ivory Elepant, this is actually from my Mum and was originally from her Grandma Effy, so vintage and well I love elephants as much as Giraffes!
Love brooch, Dorothy Perkins, 75p
Gold&white kilt brooch, Primark, £1.00
Pink flower earrings&Pearl drop earrings both ASDA and both 50p. They are so cute as well!
In the blue square box I have currently stored pens&pencils in it as I haven't found a proper use for it yet...maybe cotton wool balls/pads.
And this gorgeous french, apple one has Fruitella in which at the moment I think is the best idea ever! :)

I love all of my purchases and like I said, they are always better when they are so cheap! Anyone else love bargains? xx

Best Find EVER! (Plus little OOTD)

 Mission to de-clone!
Mum and I, when time permits, like to hit the shops. High street as well as charity. I have always been brought up in a home which in some way or form gives to charity, whether we donate clothes, books or money we have always been involved. On top of this I can always remember when my mum would bring me back a scarf or some item of clothing from one of her trips! I used to go with her when younger but of course as soon as the teens hit I was far 'too cool' to be seen out with the Mother let alone in charity shops! Gosh! Well how the tables have changed, now I am poor but I want new things :) don't we all!

Following on from this I have have come across one of the best finds ever! Not only is it a lovely piece of clothing but it also has quite a history! So here are my new beautiful black&white gingham capri pants! They were only £2.99 and 100% wool!

Alcott & Andrew, after a long time researching, is an a business which originally started in, by what I can see, 1986. They started off working around womens wear as they wanted to revolutionise how women dressed for work! They wanted to cut out the hatred of 'career clothes' and wanted women to be as excited about this set of clothes compared to their going out clothes.  The main mission was de-clone women! Amazing stuff. Apart from the fact I loved these trousers anyway, the story makes them even better! From what I can gather Alcott & Andrews have now evolved into Abercrombie & Fitch. I would love for somebody to actually research this properly and let me know! If anyone does, please email me :)

Today I wore this, seeing as maxi dresses are my new thing (I only wish the sun would come out!) I have started getting into maxi dress/long tube skirts :) win!

Floral top, H&M, £2.99
Maxi/Tube skirt, Primark, £Idonotknow:)
